I have to admit, i was thinking the same as the others that knocked this, saying it wasn't DD material. Having said that, its stock & stock is art too & deserves to be involved with the DD idea. Also, it DOES have great lighting. I'm still undecided whether, i personally, thinks its worthy of the DD status, but then i'm not the boss of everything art With my 2 pence shared, well done on the DD
I really don't feel that this is DD quality. Yes, it's a picture. Not saying it's bad...but it's just a quick snapshot with no feeling behind it. I feel like she could have just posted it on FB for no reason.

If you look at the DDs often, You'll notice that it's no longer incredible artwork that gets the DD's, it's pictures that one person likes and all of a sudden it's a DD. There is so much AMAZING work that doesnt get recognition, but a STOCK IMAGE does? It's not like anyone even edited it, or made it look decent. And to be honest, the expression just ruins this picture.
I love art of all forms, but I just can't wrap my head around why this is a DD. Sorry to whoever gets offended.
The artist would be the person you would have offended here. It's rather rude to post such a comment on a DD itself. The artist had nothing to do with getting a DD, and can't change the fact that they did. If you have a problem with a DD, you need to speak with the CV that featured it; in this case, that would be me. You can find the CV that featured the work in the "Daily Deviation" box below the artist comments, where it says "Featured by...". A lot of times, the CV will also write (in that same box) why they liked the work enough to feature it. If you still have a problem, feel free to send me a note.
Also, if you have some works you would like to suggest for DDs, you can find the list of CVs here: [link] Just find the one that matches the gallery your suggestion is from, and send them a note with the suggestion. We love to get DD suggestions, and that is a great way for us to see work we never would have seen otherwise!
I get where u are coming at just a few days ago i saw a few daily deviations that were not up to the standard was used to but many people loved them. Not everyone likes or dislikes the same things. I personally like this photo. I love unedited photography maybe you dont but everyone has their differences but that does not mean we have to critisize what we hate. Accept it, if u can't do that ignore it and move on to something u perfer and if u cant do that forget it even existed. If u think something deserves it more then suggest it. Thats what i do. glad u took the time to read this.
There's plenty of work here that got recognized that isn't stock. Stock can easily be art too. Also you don't have to edit to make things look decent. That's like saying you need plastic surgery to look decent.
